I want to tie this in with the¬† hookah- if you saw the previous post you’ll have heard Jefferson Airplane and Grace Slick on lead vocals, well, since she was an Art Major and later in years had the time, she did use the art, mainly doing paintings of her contemporaries of the 1960’s, like Janis Joplin pictured here withe her.

I don’t know how well Janis Joplin could paint, she died at age 27…..in 1970!But¬† not even Grace Slick could sing like this, no comparison even.

Whats more Janis Joplin proves that real beauty does not come from painting your face with mascarra, lipstick, eye liner and big silicon breast plants…which was not done in the 70’s mainly since it was phoney (and expensive).
